Serenity User Manual

After Use, Cleaning, and Storage

Clean, inspect, dry, and store Serenity and its accessories after each session.

After Every Session

  1. End the session and confirm that stimulation has stopped.
  2. Remove the clips by holding the clips, not the wires.
  3. Disconnect the electrode cable from the controller.
  4. Remove all gel residue.
  5. Allow every component to dry completely before storage.

Clean the Components

  • Wipe the controller with a soft cloth that is dry or only slightly damp.
  • Use a soft cloth dampened with warm water and mild soap to remove gel from the electrode contact surfaces.
  • Keep moisture out of the USB-C port, stimulation port, cable connector, and controller housing.
  • Do not submerge the controller, cable, or clips.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or alcohol on the controller or accessory surfaces.

Inspect and Store

  • Inspect the clips, cable, connectors, and controller for wear, corrosion, cracks, or other damage.
  • Do not use a damaged or contaminated component.
  • Coil the cable loosely; do not kink it or wrap it tightly around the controller.
  • Store the dry controller and accessories in the carrying case.
  • Keep the kit in a clean, dry location away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and children.
